These short films have all been collected by the British Film Institute for study in schools with children aged 3 to 14. Representing some of the best shorts and animation work of recent years, few were made for children and none for educational contexts. Each offers a rich filmic experience for audiences of any age, but their success in schools shows how we underestimate the sophistication of children‘s cinema knowledge.
